Where employees have reached the maximum super contribution base, the amount of deemed super in excess of the maximum was paid out as salary at the employee’s election. 5. Additional discretionary termination payments were made on resignation. 6. Share-based payment remuneration represents the balances expensed under the accounting standards. In situations where an employee forfeits their share-based payment instruments due to failure to meet service conditions, previously expensed amounts are reversed in profit or loss. Therefore, negative remuneration in this table represents these reversals, relative to the employees’ previously expensed amounts. 7. Non-monetary benefits are presented at actual cost plus any fringe benefits tax paid or payable by the Group. 8. Long term benefits for accrued long service leave are the movements in the provision, net of any leave taken.
